Top Performers: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh

Rishad Hossain's four-wicket haul seals Bangladesh win

Rishad Hossain dismantled Zimbabwe's chase with 4/26, bowling Bangladesh to a 34-run victory at Queens Sports Club. The spinner's four-wicket haul on the second T20I proved the difference as the hosts fell short at 152 all out, chasing 187.

Bangladesh's batting had given themselves a platform. Tanzid Hasan top-scored with 58 from 44 balls, while Saif Hassan added 55 from 45 deliveries to build a total of 186 for 5. Mohammad Saifuddin's explosive 31 from just 10 balls in the death overs proved crucial - those 21 runs in the final stages pushed the total beyond Zimbabwe's reach.

Zimbabwe's reply crumbled under pressure. Sikandar Raza struck hard with 28 from 12 balls, a brief flash of aggression, but found little support. Ryan Burl's 29 from 19 deliveries was the next best effort. Brad Evans managed 25 from 14 balls lower down the order, yet even his late hitting could not salvage the chase as Mahedi Hasan claimed 3/24 to compound Zimbabwe's problems.

Hossain's control in the middle overs proved decisive. While Richard Ngarava took 2/23 for Zimbabwe, he could not prevent Bangladesh from posting a winning total. Rishad's four-wicket performance, backed by Mahedi's three, simply overwhelmed the home side's batting lineup.
