Lusitânia Lourosa's last four matches reveal a side struggling for consistency. They lost 4-2 at home to Paredes, then suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Arouca. A goalless draw with Leça offered a measure of stability, but the subsequent 3-3 stalemate against FC Porto B suggests defensive frailty remains a concern.
Two wins in four would represent acceptable form at most levels. Lusitânia have managed none. Instead, they have collected two defeats and two draws - a return of two points from a possible twelve. The 4-2 loss to Paredes was particularly damaging; conceding four goals at home indicates lapses in shape and discipline. Arouca's 2-0 victory was tighter, but still exposed an inability to create or convert chances.
The draw with Leça hinted at improvement. A clean sheet, however narrow the result, provided something to build on. That promise evaporated against Porto B, where Lusitânia conceded three times despite scoring three themselves. Such a result - entertaining but ultimately wasteful - sums up their predicament: capable of moments but unable to sustain them across ninety minutes.
Defensively, they have shipped eleven goals in four outings. Offensively, they have managed five. That imbalance will need correcting quickly if Lusitânia are to arrest their slide.
