Pau Cubarsí is a Spanish defender who has made nine appearances this season, contributing one assist. The 21-year-old operates as a centre-back and has established himself as a regular in Barcelona's defensive line.
Cubarsí came through the club's La Masia academy before progressing to the senior squad. His development reflects Barcelona's continued investment in homegrown talent, particularly in their backline. The defender's primary role is to provide solidity at the heart of defence, though his assist tally shows he can also contribute in open play.
His nine outings represent meaningful first-team experience at a club where opportunities are fiercely contested. At centre-back, Cubarsí faces competition for places but has earned sufficient trust to feature regularly in the squad rotation. The assist demonstrates he is not purely defensive in his output - he can pick out teammates in attacking positions when the opportunity arises.
Still in the early stages of his senior career, Cubarsí represents part of Barcelona's longer-term defensive planning. His continued involvement will depend on maintaining fitness and consistency as he competes for selection in a competitive environment.
