Watkins is an English attacker who has made three appearances this season, scoring once. He operates in an attacking role and has yet to register an assist across his outings so far.
The forward has featured sparingly in the campaign, with his single goal coming across a limited run of matches. His involvement has been restricted, leaving room for him to add to his tally as opportunities arise.
At this stage of the season, Watkins remains a fringe figure in the squad rotation, with his three games representing a modest involvement in the team's plans. Whether he can build on his opening goal and force his way into a more regular starting position will depend on his performance when called upon in the matches ahead.
