Nasum Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays as a left-arm spinner. He made his international debut for Bangladesh in T20 Internationals and has since established himself as a regular in the team's limited-overs squads.
A product of Bangladesh's domestic cricket system, Ahmed developed his craft in first-class and List A cricket before earning national selection. His left-arm orthodox spin bowling offers Bangladesh variety in their attack, particularly in shorter formats where his ability to control pace and extract turn from pitches has proven valuable.
Ahmed has represented Bangladesh across multiple ICC tournaments and bilateral series, competing against top international sides. His performances in domestic cricket earned him recognition at the highest level, where he has competed alongside established Bangladesh players.
The spinner continues to be part of Bangladesh's plans for their limited-overs cricket, contributing to both T20 and ODI formats. His development as a young cricketer reflects Bangladesh's investment in nurturing domestic talent for international competition.
