Luke Wood is a left-handed batter and left-arm fast-medium bowler who represents England. Operating as a bowling allrounder, he has accumulated 1,335 runs across his ODI career.
Wood's primary value lies in his bowling with the new ball and in the middle overs. His left-arm pace gives opposition batsmen a different angle to negotiate, a quality that has established him as a fixture in England's limited-overs setup. His batting from the left side provides useful lower-order runs when required.
The Lancashire-born cricketer has developed into a reliable option across formats, bringing both skill and experience to England's squad. His ability to contribute with bat and ball makes him a versatile selection for selectors, particularly in one-day cricket where his pace bowling and batting depth add tactical flexibility.
Wood remains part of England's player pool for international cricket, where he continues to compete for selection across the ODI and T20 formats.
