The Brazilian attacker has made 16 appearances this season, scoring twice. Operating in an attacking role, Martinelli has featured regularly in the squad's setup, though his goal return remains modest across the campaign.
With two goals from 16 outings, he has not yet registered an assist. His involvement suggests consistent selection, but the statistics point to a period where he has not yet made a decisive impact in the final third. The balance between appearances and output indicates a player still working to establish himself as a regular threat in front of goal.
Martinelli's position in the attacking ranks means he will be expected to contribute more directly as the season progresses. His continued selection indicates the coaching staff retain faith in his development, but tangible returns in both goals and chances created will be needed to cement a stronger role in the team's attacking plans moving forward.
