The English defender has made nine appearances this season, contributing one assist from the back. Spence operates as a defender and has featured regularly in his side's setup without finding the net during the campaign.
A full international for England, Spence has established himself as a reliable presence in defensive duties. His assist tally suggests he is involved in build-up play and supports attacking phases from his position, adding a creative dimension beyond pure defensive work.
With nine outings across the season, he has had consistent opportunities to prove his worth at this level. His involvement in the team's attacking play, evidenced by the assist, indicates he is trusted to contribute beyond his primary defensive remit - a sign of confidence from his coaching staff in his all-round capabilities.
